Show at the Royale

For those of you in San Francisco in August and September. I have 10 recent pieces of my art on display at The Royale at 800 Post and Leavenworth from 08/01-09/29 2019. As the Royale is supportive of the arts and takes no commission on sales, I was able to price the works quite modestly.

You need to view the art in its original form to get a sense of what it is and how it is intended to be seen.

Art Attack SF: Make Your Mark

Art Attack SF is proud to present “Make Your Mark,” an annual group exhibition featuring work by over 40 Bay Area artists! Join us Thursday, June 6th from 6 - 9pm for the Opening Reception during the Castro Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibition is on view June 6th - July 14th. Gallery hours: Thursday-Sunday, 1-6pm.

Luna Rienne Gallery: Cut and Paste

A CERTAIN REALITY
“A Certain Reality” explores the spaces between reality and imagined perceptions, where characters bear witness to an internal narrative of memories and relationships. This exhibition features three artists that create delicate, yet complex ethereal landscapes and characters, including mixed-media collages from David Ball and paintings from Jennifer Davis and Megan Kimber.

Weird and Wonderful Surrealist Art by David Ball

Microscopic Giant: The Parallel Universe of David Ball

"Looking at David Ball 's mixed-media paintings is analogous to staring at alien creatures that function as your reflection. They exist in a parallel universe where life is represented through Rorschach test-like brush strokes and layers of magazine clippings. When viewing Ball’s work in person, it’s easy to imagine these creatures having paper bag hearts that feverishly contract and inflate when they feel they are being watched. Trapped in a contextual narrative, they are frozen in motion".
